We're still recooping from the Philadelphia Flower Show! Wow, what an event! If you missed our first post, you'll want to take a moment to see the display gardens. Go ahead, check it out >>>
Because it was our first Flower Show rodeo, we weren't exactly sure what plants to bring. So, we brought a big bad assortment!

>>> A personal fave of mine: Savour basil tree. The fragrance alone stole my heart, but its topiary stature and cooking capabilties are pluses, too. It's a Greek basil grafted to a wild-type basil root stock. Loved Savour so much -- I managed to stow one home with me!

>>> Frizzle Sizzle albuca was a BIG BIG hit at the Flower Show. So big, we're strongly considering offering it on our website. What do you think? It's great for a houseplant, if just for the curly foliage. Added bonus: Its yellow blooms push in winter or early spring. For northern climates, teach albuca as a tender bulb. For the south, it's zone hardy to 8-11.

>>> Aren't these cute?!? We came bearing a WIDE assortment of mini succulents for our DIY Succulent Bar, of which many are available in our Martetplace.

>>> We brought big succulents, too, because we wouldn't be Big Bad Flower otherwise.

>>> Sunrosa Yellow rose brought the sweetest fragrance around! Learn more about this awesome, mini rose and its sisters Red and Pink here.

>>> Another personal favorite: Triostar stromanthe. I had never seen it before and loved how the light affected its variegation. Also loved how it would make a great houseplant, needing only indirect light, which is pretty much my entire house. Works well for tropical container gardens, too.

>>> Rita's Gold Boston fern and Candy Stripe verbena created a bold combination, desperately needed during such a cold and dreary week.
See anything you can't live without?! Let me know, would ya?
I couldn't rightly end this post without giving thanks to our big bad employees. Man, they rocked the Flower Show. Here are just a few images, catching them in action.....sometimes.

Terri working her magic, probably selling an air plant -- or like five of them! She knew her tillandsias!

Despite this flattering photo, Richie was quite the lady's man.
See what I mean...

Scott and Terri hooked up some customers with big bad bags!

Had big bad fan Arcadia Gardens swing by for a "proof-of-life" shot "It's not real until it's on Instagram!" Follow Arcadia Gardens -- Anna Brooks -- on Instagram here, and us here!
And of course, a shout out to our big bad boss: T.Jay. This guy is the real deal.

Thanks to the Philadelphia Flower Show for letting us participate. Also, thanks to Suzanne Wainwright from Buglady Constulting for the big bad pictures!
