How to grow and manage your StoryBook Roses:
StoryBook roses are a dense, bushy rose with a compact growth habit that has some special needs.
Potting or transplanting:
Choose a pot a growing media that is well draining and water at the base to keep the foliage dry.
Watering Needs:
The StoryBook roses like water. Be sure to water before the soil becomes dry to touch (do not let the pot completely dry out.)
Fertilizer:
Fertilize with a 14-9-15 slow release fertilizer. If you have additional questions contact your local garden center for specialty rose fertilizers.
Sun:
For best results grow in full sun. But, if you plant in partial shade they will do very well.
Other advice:
Due to their compact habit, the StoryBook roses are ideal for the small to medium landscape space and patio containers. They need less pruning than typical shrub roses and due their disease resistance are very easy to care for.
